Holy good God these highlights are incredible. As we were catching up on results of the City of Palms Tournament that is going right now in Fort Myers, Florida, we rediscovered the highlights of last summer’s City of Palms dunk contest.
The creator of the video asks if it’s the best dunk contest ever. Normally when someone asks that question or declares that something is the best of all-time, it’s not even close. This though, is ridiculous. MORE >

This past weekend saw the first half of the 39th annual City of Palms Tournament in Fort Myers, Florida. The 16-team tourney assembles some of the best talent in the entire country in one place for five days of games. This season’s field is incredible, featuring elite talent like Shabazz Muhammad, Ricardo Gathers, Tony Parker, Isaiah Austin, Savon Goodman, Julius Randle, and Zach Peters.

Hide the women and children. Brewster Academy (NH), with Michigan super recruit Mitch McGary and their seven other DI recruits are absolutely rolling to start the season.
The team that many believe is the best in the nation is off to an 8-0 start, demolishing everyone in their way in the process. The most recent victim was Philly’s Rise Academy, who got smacked the other night 102-57. Watch what Brewster did to a number of nationally-ranked teams last month in the New Hampshire Prep Classic. So when Upper Room Christian Academy’s Rodney Purvis took on Prestonwood Christian Academy’s Julius Randle at the Thanksgiving Hoopfest, you better believe the cameras were rolling. Expanding to five days with 46 teams in its 11th year, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s 2012 Spalding Hoophall Classic, presented by Big Y World Class Markets, will once again be held at Springfield College’s Blake Arena from January 12-16 during Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend.
