Kemba Walker – On Fire

Words.

Kemba Walker is on the rise. The senior PG at Rice High School in Harlem, N.Y., has been on fire in ’07 — he led Rice to a state championship in the spring, then over the summer led his New York Gauchos AAU squad to five tournament ‘chips and starred at several camps. Not to mention, Kemba did his thing at Rucker Park and landed on the cover of this month’s issue of Bounce Magazine for his playground efforts. We got up with Kemba recently in Rice’s gym where he talked about his rise to stardom.

Yo, Kemba is the real deal. If you haven’t had a chance to see him play you’re missing out. He can use the rim the better than anyone in the nation. His reverse layups are damn near unblockable.

He looks so comfortable doing tough drills with his left hand – he even dunked that ball lefty

  3. Whenever I see this kid–most recently at the Elite 24– he always impresses. He is humble, plays hard on both ends and is always looking to improve. What’s not to like?

Your right Coldchain that is his weakness, but a jumper can be fixed look at Tony Parker. Kemba does everything else well. I would love to see him when he gets to UConn and gets some collegiate coaching (Except when they play St. John’s).

that’s crazy that whenever i see him play he never dunks it that’s probably a hidden part of his game that he likes to wow crowds with at times like chris paul he penetrates alot but dunks once in a while and when he does it gets the crowd hyper than usual
