When American Christian School (Aston, Penn.) was putting together their hoop schedule over the summer, they weren’t messing around. Led by Tyreke Evans, ACA flaunts a roster bursting with talent (maybe 10 guys going to D-1 programs). If you got it, flaunt it, right?

This season will see ACS travel up and down the East Coast to play other top teams and will make not one, but two, road trips to California to take on serious competition. By our count, they will encounter squads featuring at least six Top 25 players and twice as many Top 50 guys along the way.

Below is ACS’s schedule, complete with the blue chip players they’ll have to tangle with over the next few months…

If Reke’ comes out of this season alive there shouldn’t be any doubt that he is the best h.s. player in the country. I haven’t seen Lance’s schedule yet but it can’t be as serious as A.C.S’.

I bet Momo Jones wishes he kept his @$$ at Rice!! Lol

  2. ENY_Guild says:

Tough schedule for sure. I know they were trying to get St.Pat’s and Oak Hill on the schedule too. NY Baller, Momo is quite happy at ACS. I’ve seen a couple practices and spoken to Momo personally. He likes it there with Reke, Spivey and the rest of the guys.

i wonder how many games are gonna be on espn

The tournament in St. Louis is the KMOX Shootout, and they will face one of the top 10 programs in the country in South Kent Academy… Guys like Isaiah Thomas, Christian “Beast” Morris, Jin Soo Kim, Assane Sene, Maurice Creek, Dion Waiters, Papa Falletc… This is likely to be ACS’s toughest opponent…

  5. Wikipedia says:

Yeah I think ACS is gonna get crushed in that game. Jin Soo Kim, Isaiah Thomas, Christian Morris and Mo Creek are tough to matchup with.

  6. NYBaller says:

I keep hearing about Jin Soo Kim. Is the nasty? I know about Thomas, Morris, and Creek already. That definitely is their toughest matchup.

  7. Jaquam Bodden says:

that’s a tough schedule and all but i heard that Lamont Jones (former rice guard) is at A.C.S. now how is he going to get enough playing time with joshua spivey starting at the lead guard.

  8. Coldchain says:

Is Jin Soo Kim from China? NOBODY from there is good at ball — Yao’s not even that good, he’s just big. Their Olympic team was getting mopped in the NBA summer league, and that’s supposed to be their best guys. Tyreke and them ain’t worried about Jin Soo Kim. Now Isiah Thomas? He’s good.

  9. Uncle Wes says:

I watchedTyreke and Isaiah got at it last year at the Nike Super Six, courtside of course. Both named their teams MVP of the game. Classic scorers battle. Will be fun watching them match up in St Louis this year at the KMOX, as I’m sure they will go at eachother.

They were also fighting for the scoring title at the Nike Global Challenge as well.

Should be even moreso entertaining this year, as both of them have much more talent behind them.
