The Chosen League is the best league in Philadelphia. Period. Every top high school player that has come through the city of brotherly love since 2002, have tested their wills against top competition on the concrete of Cherashore Playground at 10th and Olney in North Philadelphia. The list of stories from, Kyle Lowry killing kids to current Houston Rocket Donte Green driving up the I-95 to face-off against the Kansas University bound Morris twins, goes on. Dime has its own team in the tourney and they have been rudely introduced to the Chosen League and Philly’s style of ball. Current Philly prep stars like Jesse Morgan and Maalik Wayns have a long list of playground legends to follow at 10th and Olney. The league is sponsored by Nike and Philly sneaker giant Sneaker Villa. Game days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30 and 8:30pm.
