It looks like the recruitment of Jordan Hamilton, the 6-7 small forward from Dominguez HS (CA) and 6-2 shooting guard Avery Bradley has taken a surprising turn. Hamilton, the 13th ranked prospect in the class of 2009, recently cut his list of schools to four with Kansas, UConn, Texas and Syracuse surviving the trim. What is more shocking is that Hamilton admitted that he would like to play his college ball with top 10 shooting guard Avery Bradley from Bellarmine Prep (WA).
“We are both looking at Texas, Kansas and UConn,” Hamilton said. “We’ve been talking about going to school together. We talk on the regular and text message each other. I could just see us playing together.”
It was initially believed that Bradley would be looking to play collegiate basketball with his backcourt mate at Bellarmine and another top 10 prospect, Abdul Gaddy, but with the way Hamilton is talking he may have cooled on that thought.
