Philly’s Chosen League championship game is scheduled for Monday August 18th. Our very own Dime Magazine squad will take on the OJ Mayo team led by Villanova recruit Maalik Wayns. Ferg Myrick of Prep Charter HS has had a solid tournament and led the No. 8 seeded Dime Magazine team into the playoffs. It’s the first time in the seven year history of the Chosen League that an eight-seeded team has made it to the final. Dime Magazine backed in to the playoffs as the 8th seed and defeated the No. 1 seeded Thaddeus Young and No. 4 seeded H.T.E squads. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 8 p.m.
