Tobias Harris
Class of 2010 forward Tobias Harris has decided to transfer from Dix Hills West HS to Long Island Lutheran HS. After having a strong summer, that saw him pick up several offers, Harris along with his father Torrel Harris decided it was in his best interest to move on to a more competitive school:
“Tobias will also be attending Lutheran High School next year and feels the move will continue to help his game develop,” said Tobias’ dad, Torrel.
Mr. Harris added: “It is important to face the best competition and we felt the schedule Half Hollow Hills West plays would simply not challenge Tobias enough to further improve his game.”
Long Island Lutheran has produced players like former Maryland Terrapins guard Drew Nicholas and former Chicago Bulls center Bill Wennington.
