Brewster Academy (N.H.) point guard Josh Selby, a 6-2 rising senior who is rated the No. 14 prospect in the HighSchoolHoop top 50, de-committed from Tennessee this past weekend via Facebook.

“I … just de-committed from Tennessee,” read Selby’s page.

A source close to the situation tells HSH that Kentucky has a “great shot at landing Selby.”

Calls to Selby were not immediately returned. No word yet on what led to the impromptu de-commitment, but the news has to sting for the Vols. This is the second guard to de-commit from Tennessee in the past two months. Aaron Craft de-committed from the Vols and committed to Ohio State shortly thereafter.
