DeShaun Thomas drops career-high

Bishop Luers (Ind.) forward DeShaun Thomas lit up Southside High for a career-high 52 points last Saturday in a 110-94 win.
Thomas’ previous career-high was 46, which he had managed twice.
“He was obviously really efficient,” said Bishop Luers coach James Blackmon. “He did it in every way … from the three-point line, from the free-throw line, in the lane. He just couldn’t be stopped. I took him out with three minutes left in the game, so I think that he could’ve easily scored 60-plus.”
Thomas, an Ohio State signee and the 25th-rated prospect in the HSH Top 50, finished the game with 2,595 career points. Indiana’s all-time high school scoring mark is held by Damon Bailey (3,134).
