Brandon Knight drops Miami, adds Syracuse

Brandon Knight

Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) point guard Brandon Knight has dropped Miami from his list and added Syracuse, according to the Sun Sentinel.

“They’re not in my top five,” Knight told the Miami newspaper. “I like Coach [Frank] Haith, but my family and I felt it probably wasn’t the best place for me.”

To go along with the ‘Cuse, Knight, who is ranked No. 2 in the HSH national top 50 and is considered the best point guard in the country, lists Kentucky, Kansas, Connecticut and Florida. Knight said he will announce his decision over the next few weeks. The smart money is on Kentucky.

i bet he and cj leslie go to kentucky…the wierd thing is that he;; prob play off the ball cuz itll be bledsoes team…if i was him i feel kansas would b best

I disagree Kwame. If J. wall and EB can play together, i dont see why BK and EB cant play together. Its also an equal opportunity offense, bc multiple players do handle the ball.

Its all about a persons strength.

Be a part of the dynasty Brandon. UK has it.

Brandon as you saw tonight with UCONN you could shine bright with the Huskies. Your game would fit just perfect there and you and Kemba would be a good duo also. Maybe Josh and you could both come to UCONN and take them back to the mountain top. Good Luck in your decision and God Bless you and your Family!!

Seems like Kentucky might be best for him..but honestly…I wouldn’t count out Calhoun @ UCONN to return the team back to it’s prominent status. He would really be another Ben Gorden type of player.

Yeah….If I was a top high school prospect, I would really want to go play for that old dried up 70 year old coach at Connecticut.
