Offers rolling in for Tyler Lewis

Tyler Lewis

We’ve been telling you about Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, N.C.) point guard Tyler Lewis for quite some time now, and it looks like he’s well on his way to becoming a household name.

In the last month, Lewis, a sophomore, has picked up offers from Wake Forest, N.C. State, Miami and Baylor. He already had offers from Virginia Tech, Auburn, Charlotte, Appalachian State, Virginia Commonwealth, Richmond and High Point. North Carolina is also keeping a close eye on Lewis.

We watched Lewis at the Carolina Challenge, which features the top players in North Carolina, a couple of weeks ago and he was easily the best point guard there. Then last weekend he led Team Loaded to the Pittsburgh Jamfest title.

If Lewis continues his exceptional play he could be rated high when we unveil the new HSH national Top 50 rankings in the coming months.

The kid has a great feel on the court. His style isn’t prob the smoothest or best looking, but it’s very effective.

I’d like to see him play for NC State.
