Kentucky lands another Elite recruit
Words. Jason Jordan

Before he was named Co-MVP of the Boost Mobile Elite 24 last weekend, Jesuit High (Portland, Ore.) forward Kyle Wiltjer committed to Kentucky during halftime of the game.
Wiltjer, who blew up this summer while running with the Drew Gooden Soldiers out of Oakland, picked the ‘Cats over Georgia Tech, California, Kansas, Texas, Gonzaga and Wake Forest.
“I”m very excited to be a part of that team,” Wiltjer said on ESPNU. “The one thing, is I wanted to surround myself with the best players.”
Mission accomplished.
Wiltjer, who is ranked No. 24 in the HSH National Top 50, joins three of the top 10 players in Perspectives Charter School (Chicago) forward Anthony Davis (No. 9), St. Patrick (Elizabeth, N.J.) swingman Michael Gilchrist (No. 3) and Pike High (Indianapolis) point guard Marquis Teague (No. 4) to form Kentucky’s 2011 recruiting class to this point.
