Kansas, Wisconsin, Kentucky on Tokoto’s final 8
Words. Jason Jordan

Menomonee Falls (WI) junior swingman J.P. Tokoto is closing in on a decision and has cut his list of schools down to just eight, according to his mother Laurence Trimble.
Tokoto trimmed his list on Valentine’s Day. Connecticut, Marquette, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, UCLA and Wisconsin are all still in the running. Trimble said that J.P. plans to make a decision after his high school season concludes.
Tokoto is averaging 23 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists and three steals per game for Menomonee Falls. At the Under Armour Brandon Jennings Invitational showcase on Jan. 22, Tokoto’s team went up against Lincoln (Brooklyn, NY), and despite sitting out the first quarter for missing a team meeting, Tokoto scored 22 points in an impressive showing. Roy Williams was in the crowd watching that game.

JP Tokoto we want you.
I had put a lot of stock in Harrison Barnes but now we want you Tokoto. Barnes is expendable. We don’t need LJ Rose. We don’t need Cody Zeller. Forget Quinn Cook. We didn’t really want him once we had a shot at Myck Kabongo. I know Quinn Cook is from prestigious Oak Hill and they’re tearing it up this year but I’m happy with Marcus Paige in a few years. That young fellers a project if I’ve ever seen one.
Take it from me son. Don’t even think about Kentucky, Kansas, Wisconsin, or UCLA. Kansas has not been the same without yours truly. Kentucky always loses players to the NBA. UCLA grads play great in the League but they don’t win at UCLA.
Ol’ Roy will take care of you son.
Who knows? You may get a chance to play for a post-season NIT tournament title. We got you JP and we’re never letting go.
Come and be a part of a winning tradition. We got women, we got food, and of course you’ve got… me! – Ro Will.I.am.z
