Landing Shabazz Muhammad is akin to winning the lottery. And while at the City of Palms Tournament in Fort Myers, Fla., Muhammad made it clear that four schools of his final six stand apart from the rest.

Muhammad told Rivals.com that Duke, Kentucky, UCLA and UNLV are the four schools that stand out to him, leaving Kansas and USC on the outside looking in. He also noted that UCLA’s recent struggles have definitely affected his recruitment.

“It affected it when UCLA was losing early,” said Muhammad. “It had me thinking how I’d fit in. It’s tough. I don’t want to go to a school on the down turn. But I think they can turn it around.”

Long considered the front-runner, if the Bruins can’t turn things around quickly, they may lose the most coveted prospect left in the Class of 2012. Muhammad will most likely make his decision in the spring.

Who do you think will sign Muhammad?
