Alex Murphy picks Duke

St. Mark’s (Southborough, MA) small forward Alex Murphy ended his recruitment Monday, picking Duke over Florida, North Carolina, Boston College, Arizona, Kansas and West Virginia.

“Ultimately, it came down to my relationship with Coach K,” Murphy told USA Today. “I went down last year and visited earlier this year and just felt at home. I felt comfortable with the players and coaches – and felt like there’s no better place. It was clear to me.”

Murphy, ranked No. 30 in the HSH National Top 50, is Duke’s first commitment from the 2012 class.
