In the end it truly was his decision.
John Wall, a 6-foot-4 senior point guard from Word of God Academy in Raleigh, N.C., ended a long and dramatic recruiting process late Monday night, picking Kentucky over Florida, Duke and Miami.
“Maaaan I’m going to the beach or something!” Wall joked when HighSchoolHoop spoke to him this morning. “I need to unwind… No, but I’m really happy that it’s all over. I feel like I made the best decision for me.”

It’s official: Eric Bledsoe chose Kentucky over Memphis Wednesday.
Bledsoe, a 6-foot point guard, averaged 20 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds while leading Parker High (Ala.) to the Class 5A state championship game.

The best available point guard in the class of 2009 not named John Wall is Parker High’s (Ala.) Eric Bledsoe, a 6-foot point guard. Today he’ll choose between Kentucky and Memphis.
Word is that Bledsoe is set to pick the Cats, which is a bit puzzling because both schools are on Wall’s shortlist as well.
