So is Syracuse still in the running for Brooklyn sophomore Isaiah Whitehead (Lincoln HS) or not? Reports hit yesterday that the 6-4 star guard had crossed the ‘Cuse off of his list of schools because of the allegations of molestation against Syracuse assistant Bernie Fine, but now the reports of Whitehead’s decision are being refuted by his Lincoln coach, Dwayne Morton.

Seventeen of the nation’s top 19-and-unders, including seven possessing prior USA Basketball experience, have accepted invitations from the USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team Committee to attend the 2011 USA Basketball Men’s U19 World Championship Team training camp. The training camp, which will be held June 17-24 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., will be used to select the 12-member team that will represent the USA at the 2011 FIBA U19 World Championship.
