And ask anybody that I talked to after watching him ball out in the inaugural National High School Invitational, I knew he was going to be a star. Now two years later, that’s exactly the case. And with his college decision out of the way – he recently committed to the University of Maryland – all he has to worry about is continuing to get better. While everyone in the DMV talks about Montrose Christian junior swingman Justin Anderson, you’d be crazy to overlook his teammate, senior point guard Tyrone Johnson. At 6-3 and 185 pounds, Johnson is the perfect candidate to take over the backcourt for Villanova next fall. Below, watch Johnson hit the halftime buzzer-beater against Don Boscoe Prep, and then completely drop his defender with a sick crossover.
