In a celebration of the 35th anniversary of the McDonald’s All American High School Boys Basketball Game, today, the McDonald’s All American Games unveiled its list of 35 of the Greatest McDonald’s All Americans. Future Kentucky Wildcats Do Work At The McD’s Game

Last night in Chicago was definitely an exciting one in McDonald’s All American Game history as more than 20,000 fans (an all-time record) came out to the United Center to watch 48 of the nation’s best players put on a show. But with the East squad for both the Girls and Boys coming out victorious, our ultra-competitive friend Austin Rivers wasn’t in the mood for one last update after taking the L. Instead, with the Final Four just days away, we caught up with future Kentucky Wildcats Michael Gilchrist (who took home the MVP) and Bria Goss who both returned to the hotel with a big win.

New York, Chicago legends to coach McDonald’s teams

The coaches for the 2011 McDonald’s All-American Games were announced on Thursday. When the top high school players in the nation converge on Chicago’s United Center to play in the historic showcase, the West boys team will be coached by Gene Pingatore from St. Joseph’s (IL), while the East will have Bob Cimmino Jr. from Mount Vernon (NY) on the bench.
