Noah Vonleh, a class of 2103 6-8 forward out of New Hampshire (New Hampton), has ignited a full-on recruiting with some of the biggest programs in all of college basketball. Word broke yesterday that Vonleh had cut his list to a super six: UNC, Syracuse, Ohio State, Georgetown, Indiana, and UConn.

New England sophomores shine at Elite 75 Showcase

This past weekend, some of New England’s finest underclassmen brought their A-games to Boston University for the Elite 75 Freshman/Sophomore Showcase.

Rene Castro (Beaver Country Day, MA), Noah Vonleh (Haverhill, MA) and Andrew Chrabascz (Cushing Academy, MA) were among the standouts. Castro, a 6-0 point guard, and Chrabascz, a 6-6 forward were part of the Boston Amateur Basketball Club team that won the Under-16 bracket championship at the AAU Nationals in Orlando this summer. Vonleh, a 6-7 wing, has grown two inches in two months and is ranked 43rd overall in the class of 2013 according to ESPN.
