The nickname is almost automatic. Watch him for two minutes and you can see why Kyle Anderson is called “Slow Motion.”
“I got the name a couple years ago, from Commissioner Pete Edwards at the I.S. 8 tournament in New York,” says Anderson, a 6-7 junior guard/forward at St. Anthony High School (Jersey City, N.J.). “I was doing things on the court in a slow motion and the name just stuck.” MORE >

Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) point guard Quinn Cook will decide between Duke and UCLA on Thursday, according to his coach, Steve Smith.
Cook flirted with the possibility of entertaining his “dream school” North Carolina when coach Roy Williams began to turn up the heat in his recruitment of Cook recently, but after more consideration Cook decided to end the process sooner. He will make his announcement at Oak Hill. MORE >

Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) coach Steve Smith confirmed to us recently that he would indeed be getting another stellar point guard to run his team next season.
Quinn Cook, a rising senior, has decided to transfer from DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, Md.) and lead the Warriors.
