Ryan Boatright

Words.

Over the weekend, Ryan Boatright put himself in the record books for East Aurora (IL) High School, setting the school’s single-game record with an astonishing 63 points in their matchup with previously unbeaten Proviso West.

The UConn-bound point guard surpassed the previous mark of 55 points — which he’d set himself in the first week of the season against St. Charles North.

“I’m glad I didn’t set the record at St. Charles,” Boatright admitted to the Chicago Tribune. “I wanted to do it at home in front of our fans. When I had 35 at the half, I knew I had a chance if I kept playing hard.” MORE >
