Playing for Westchester Country Day School (High Point, NC), Ike Nwamu is used to being overshadowed by Quincy Miller and Deuce Bello, his superstar teammates who will be taking their 1-2 punch to Baylor next season. But Nwamu can steal the show, too. The 6-3 guard/linebacker murdered the rim at the Hoophall Classic dunk contest earlier this month, where he took the title. This Cleveland State recruit must have watched some old footage of NBA Slam Dunk contests before taking the stage, because his performance was reminiscent to that of Vince Carter’s in 2000.
