Just like when I ranked the Top 10 point guards of the last decade, this ranking of the 10 best two-guards of the decade is solely based on what each player accomplished in high school and AAU ball. I’m not factoring in college stats or NBA Draft position — it’s all about what you did before you got there, with a heavy emphasis on the AAU circuit against the best players in the country. I got there Friday morning. My family and I drove and when we got to campus we met up with Coach (Danny) Manning, who took us over to meet the Dean of the school. She was a little new to the university, but she gave a great presentation. She gave us a good feel for the campus. Late last week, rumors surfaced that would have dropped Kansas out of that top spot in your college Top 25 ranking. Word was that the key piece of KU’s puzzle, Class of ’09 standout Xavier Henry wouldn’t end up in Lawrence after all. There were some ambiguous rumblings about Henry being unhappy at KU. Kentucky fans since latched on to Xavier once more, hoping that this would re-open an opportunity for him to reunite with Coach Calipari. MORE >

Within the last couple of days, we’ve seen a monster turn-of-events in the Lance Stephenson sweepstakes. First, reports came out that he’s turned down both of his top suitors St. John’s and Maryland.
