Nike Battle of the Boroughs Tryouts Next Week

After an inaugural run that went extremely well, Nike Basketball is bringing back the Battle of the Boroughs for a second straight year. With the same mission as last summer, the goal is to ignite a rivalry that is at the core of NYC’s hoop culture and provide a platform to showcase some of the city’s top high school talent. Streetball legends from the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Harlem all assemble a team comprised of the top ballplayers from their respective boroughs, and here’s how you can get involved:
All eligible high school players are invited to tryout for a chance to rep their borough. After the tryout period, the head coaches will handpick their 10 players to represent that borough’s team. The teams will practice and compete all summer long until the journey concludes in an all-day showdown in early August. Think you have what it takes? Tryout here:
